General

What are your hours?

We are open Monday through Friday, 8am until 5pm.

How far out are you booked?

Our schedule can vary greatly depending on the time of the year. Most smaller jobs usually can be booked within a week while larger jobs may need to be scheduled further out than that. Please contact us with details of the work you are requesting to find out specific appointment availability.

What forms of payment do you take?

We currently accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards. We also accept Apple Pay and Paypal.

Do I need an appointment?

RRT services over 3000 vehicles a year. Typically we are booked out approximately a week, but that can vary depending on the time of year and any cancellations we might have had. The best thing to do is to give us a call, send an email, or use this website's contact form.

How long will it take to complete the repairs?

This can be a very involved question. We always strive to complete the job as soon as possible. Lately, however, shipping delays and parts availability has added to the time needed to finish the repair. Trust that our goal is to return your vehicle to you in working order as soon as possible.

How do I drop my vehicle off for service?

We try to make dropping your vehicle off to us as painless as possible. During normal business hours, please come inside our showroom and visit with our friendly staff who can take your information and keys. After regular business hours, we offer a night drop off option. When facing the front of the building the night drop box is located beside the left door. Simply fill out the envelope and slide your keys through the slot.

Do you offer loaner vehicles?

Unfortunantly at this moment we do not offer loaners. Many of our clients choose to use Uber or a taxi when dropping their vehicles off with us and we are partnered with Enterprise Rent-A-Car if you would like to obtain a rental vehicle while we service yours.

What cars do you work on?

Our focus is on premium German vehicles. We have the reputation for being renowned BMW experts for over 20 years and also staff experts serving our Mercedes, Audi and Porsche customers.

Is there a charge to diagnose my car?

There are a few different charges that could apply while we are inspecting the vehicle. If we need to diagnose a specific problem, our hourly rate is $155/hr - $179/hr. depending on the type of work requested. Most diagnosis can be completed within the first hour. If we required more time to chase down a problem, we would present to you our plan and what we need to do along with the associated costs. If you want a general inspection of the vehicle as is required on many maintence plans or just to give you an overview of the car, our general inspection charge is $119

My car is running rough. Do I need a tune-up?

That is a possibility, however there is no such this as the classically thought 'tune-up' any more. Modern engines are very complicated machines with multiple layers of computer control. When you vehicle is running roughly, our first recommendation is to diagnose the problem. It may end up being a simple spark plug exchange, however there are many, many things that can cause an engine to not be at it's best.

Do you perform regular service and maintenance work?

Do you do custom tuning?

We offer a variety of software tunes from Carbahn, Dinan, APR and others, however we do not perform custom tuning in house. With the complexity of modern platforms and the abundance of great products on the market, a custom tune is usually not required and can often create problems. Our focus has always been on reliability and endurance.

We try to ship all in-stock order within 48 hours of receiving payment.

Currently we only ship within the United States of America.
